Natural Origin knows that 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies, which is why we only use 100% pure and natural ingredients. Premium plant based ingredients are carefully selected and designed with the customer in mind.  Unlike refined oils, the cold pressed virgin oils and butters used in our products provide maximum nutrition for the skin. We do not use parabens, petroleum, synthetic colours or fragrances.

Natural Origin was created by Pauline Hinkson, whose children and grandchildren suffer from eczema. Wanting to ease their symptoms, she conducted some research to identify the chemical culprits likely to trigger outbreaks. Pauline was horrified to discover that the irritants could be found in virtually all her body and cleansing products. More alarming was the fact that she could find no alternatives on the high street.

Frustrated by her discovery, Pauline decided to make her own eczema-friendly soap. She embarked on courses, and tracked down an industry expert who guided her through the process of production. Pauline’s first efforts worked wonders, and within weeks her immediate family were placing repeat orders. Pauline’s premium, natural ingredients soothed and calmed previously agitated skin, and word began to spread. Friends began to show an interest in Pauline’s project, and after a few months she realized her products would be of commercial interest to others looking for alternatives to the harsh ingredients in many mainstream products.

Pauline wanted to develop a brand that people trusted, using premium, pure ingredients in products designed with the customer in mind. And so Natural Origin was born. In her desire to create a functional product to calm the sensitive skin of her loved ones, Pauline seems to have harnessed the elixir of youth. Her smooth, radiant complexion belies the fact that she is a grandmother, and is testament to the effectiveness of her products.
